Ok I finally got the answer to my question!

the song's name is: "nocturne" performed by "secret garden" (link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturne_(Secret_Garden) )

I found the information on a site: http://www.watzatsong.com/EN/ where you can post your piece of music and other people can guess the name of the song.

ANyway I want to thank you all for your efforts and hope that you can find the name of the song you're after (I know how frustrating it is, not nowing it's name ;) )

still nobody who can name this song?
I've been searching like mad ever since I made my first post here, so I'm getting a little desperate at finding it.

Please, if you know more information about the song (even the smallest bits can help) I would like to ask you to post it here.

Betreff: famous violin music piece from the 90's [SOLVED]

Hi all, it's been almost a whole year now that I'm searching for the title and composer of a famous piece of music from the 90's (around 1992 i think). Alas it has no singing in it (as far as I'm aware) which means that I can't search for the lyrics.

below is a piece of the most famous part of the song (imagine that it is played by violins).
It resembles it almost identical except for a few "glitches" at the end which I can't figure out or can't remember that good

basically it is meant as a surprise for my girlfriend who once heard that particularly song and would love to hear it again.
So if anyone could help me in my quest for the right title, and composer, or can even give me the name of a CD on which it can be found, I would be grateful to him/her beyond believe!

p.s. if someone has an idea but also can't come up with the right name, they can always help by improving or adding more notes to my "preview" or by giving clues to where to look.
